Favor Isn’t Fair
Sermon Scripture: Genesis 4:1-7 NIV
Point #1: In life you win some, you lose some. God will still be with you.
Scripture: Ecclesiastes 9:11, NIV, says, “I have seen something else under the sun: The race is not to the swift or the battle to the strong, nor does food come to the wise or wealth to the brilliant or favor to the learned, but time and chance happen to them all.”
Point #2: Trust God; He will take care of you…Win or Lose!
Scripture: Proverbs 3:5-6, NIV, says, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; 6. in all your ways submit to him, and he
will make your paths straight.”
Point #3: The real prize is eternal life. Having God’s love in your heart.
Scripture: John 3:16, NIV, says, “16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have
eternal life.”
